I believe there is something to this since many people turn to it everyday for guidance and if what they read works for them, then more power to them. As for me, I will seek out my sign only when I feel a threat in the air to see what has been written for that day, but other than that, I don't bother. I read them as a form of entertainment, sometimes, what I read for my horoscope comes true, but most of the time, it doesn’t. For different reasons. I like western because of the detailed answers and the personal flare it gives. However, I understand your attachment to the Chinese astrology as well.
